at the appropriate rate. Hours to be mutually agreed.
Salary: Living Wage £15,807 pro rata

St John’s Catholic Primary School requires an enthusiastic Catering Assistant from 5th November 2018.
This is a permanent post, 20 hours per week, 10 am - 2 pm, term time only. Reporting to the Cook in Charge, you will assist in the kitchen and dining room. This will include the preparation of meals, food service, dish and utensil washing, general cleaning and other tasks associated with catering.
The successful candidate will have an interest in food and ability to cook, be an excellent team player and be able to work to deadlines. You will need to be approachable, enthusiastic, flexible and committed to providing a quality service. An understanding of Food Hygiene requirements is desirable.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to work in a friendly and supportive team. You will be responsible for supervising our children over the school lunchtime period, this will be either inside, setting up the hall for lunch, supervising the children whilst encouraging healthy eating, promoting good manners and respect for each other in a safe and supportive environment. Or outside overseeing and enhancing the play sessions and engaging with our fantastic young people.
Candidates need to be aware that this is a Catholic school and it is important that candidates feel able to support.
