This is a job-share responsibility post (0.5) where the teaching commitment will be part-time with management release time. The role of deputy will be shared between two people. This is a permanent position.
We are seeking to recruit two people to share the role of Deputy Headteacher, both people will be highly motivated, ambitious leaders who are committed to providing an outstanding educational experience for all pupils.
This role will suit an ambitious school leader seeking to work with colleagues to build and develop our school. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual with character, determination and integrity, who actively looks to inspire others to give their best.
Each Deputy Headteacher will lead on raising standards across the school, with a subject specialism, and a phase leader responsibility we are seeking two teachers who:
- Are outstanding classroom practitioners.
- Have a successful proven record, particularly in relation to improving the quality of learning and teaching.
- Have experience of working with children with a wide range of additional needs
- Have the ability to lead, inspire and develop colleagues and pupils
- Have high expectations of self and others
- Have the ability to operate at a strategic level including effective use of analysis of data, and school improvement.
- The successful candidates will possess a clear vision of a faith-based approach to education and will be fully supportive and committed to the Catholic tradition of the school

Clerk to Governors - This job could be suitable for someone who is interested in a jobshare or flexible working.
Permanent - £1900 per annum.The role is to ensure that the business of the Governing Body is conducted efficiently, effectively and in accordance with the relevant duties and responsibilities. He/she will ensure that business is undertaken within the current legislative framework and will be completely confidential in all their dealings. Supporting 13 Governors, The Clerk to the Governing Body will be accountable to the Governing Body, working effectively with the Chair of Governors, the Headteacher and other governors.There may be opportunities for this post to be extended across to a partnership school in the future.This is a school which is ambitious for its pupils and is very keen on developing staff's capabilities.
