Inspections

RE Inspection

In July 2019 we were inspected and judged to be 'Outstanding'. The inspectors found that:

'Behaviour across the school is exemplary'

'The excellent relations engendered by teachers create a happy and purposeful environment in which students enjoy their learning and are
confident, keen learners who want to find out more. This was evident in lessons observed during the inspection and in discussions with pupils.'

'The school’s vision ‘For every child to shine, celebrate and grow’ places a strong focus on helping every child to shine at something, celebrate their uniqueness and continue to grow and progress further in God’s light.'

Ofsted

We had our last inspection in September 2023.  St John’s Catholic Primary School was been judged as ‘Good’.

The inspector found that:

'Pupils enjoy school and there is a purposeful buzz of learning throughout the school.'

'The schools high expectations are reflected in the ambitious curriculum and rich experiences.'

'The school is united in its aim to provide a high quality education for all pupils.'

We are extremely proud of the pupils, the staff and the Governors and the rest of the school community, who all make St John's such a special place.
